I think each player should interpret which ending is 'true', like you said. I hear you, they could've just called them perhaps Route A and Route B so that they're all neutral, because realistically speaking both endings have their positives and negatives. I can see why they wouldn't do it but I think it would have been interesting. It's just a shame they made one a true one and one a normal one instead of letting players decide which ending is the 'true' one. It's interesting how they made two such different endings though and people can see what outcome they like the most. I see your point though, I haven't thought of it like that but I guess it comes down to one's way of seeing things? As I just thought it was supposed to be romantic and I think it just turned me off and I didn't really think of Ludger's well-being in that ending. I think so! At least that's what I am doing lmao.
